The symptoms of autoimmune diseases are as diverse as could be. Low energy, low libido, poor digestion, skin problems, sleep problems, hair loss, weight gain, and on and on and on. With over 100 different named diseases affecting virtually every body system this is truly the most important areas of study. In fact the NIH reported a budget of $591 million being spent on solving this dilemma.
What is emerging from this research is an awareness that the root causes of all autoimmune diseases may be very similar. One of the nation's experts, Dr. Tom O'Bryan shared this concept this way, “Whether it manifests as Alzheimer’s Disease, or Rheumatoid Arthritis, or Cardiovascular Disease, or Multiple Sclerosis, or chronic fatigue, or brain fog, or a long list of other symptoms, the mechanisms that initiate and ‘fuel’ these conditions are often predictable and identifiable.”
