Cranberry Vinegar

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup raw apple cider vinegar, Plus additional to top off jar.

1/2 cup fresh cranberries

3 cinnamon sticks

Instructions

Bring vinegar to a boil in a small stainless steel pot. (Using aluminum will cause a chemical reaction that will adversely affect that flavor of the vinegar.)

Remove from heat and add in the cranberries and cinnamon sticks.

Cover and allow to steep for 20-30 minutes.

Pour steeped mixture into a clean glass jar.

If needed you can top off your jar with additional raw apple cider vinegar.

Allow to cool completely before putting on the lid.

Label your jar and store in a cool dark place.

Does not need to be refrigerated.

Notes

Vinegar is ready to use after about 24 hours but will become more flavorful if allowed to sit for about 2 weeks.
