Perfect Bacon

Cooking bacon can be a messy job, especially if your trying to cook it in a frying pan with grease splattering everywhere the clean up takes just as long as the cooking.

What if there was a way to cook bacon, to perfection, with no splatter to deal with and very little clean up?

There is and I’d like to teach you.

Perfect Bacon

  • Author: Tammie Duggar

1 pound bacon

Start by Preheating your oven to 400 degrees F.

Cover a baking sheet with foil and place bacon on the foil, do not overlap strips.

Place baking sheet on the bottom rack of the oven and set a timer for  10-15 minutes, depending on how thick your bacon is and how crispy you like it.

Remove bacon from oven when time rings and turn strips over.  Bake another 10-15 minutes.

Remove from oven and allow bacon to sit for about 5-10 more minutes to crisp up a little more and to allow excess grease to run off.  I like to prop one side of my pan up just a bit so that the grease can all drain to one side of the pan.

The bacon is now ready for whatever culinary creation you have in store, leave it whole or cut it into crumbles.

There are so many bacon choices out there in the world, make sure your choosing high quality organic, free range, meat that is uncured without added chemicals.

What is your favorite thing to do with bacon?
