Detox Booster Tea

I love brewing my own healing teas. They are super soothing and I can adjust the flavor just how I like them.
This tea is loaded with spices that aid the body in the detox process. This tea is mild enough to use several times a week to boost your ability to detox.

Why is it so good for detox?

Fennel:

Fennel helps flush the body of excess fluids through its diuretic properties to minimize water retention.
Fennel helps to eliminate toxins and reduce the risk of problems with the urinary tract.
Fennel has diaphoretic properties that stimulate sweat, which is an important way for the body to remove toxins.

Coriander:

Coriander improves the filtration rate of the kidneys.
Coriander has diuretic properties. It helps clean out the urinary tract, bladder, and kidneys, removing waste, salt, excess water, toxins, and combating infections too.
Coriander helps lower water retention in the body and allows it to flush out toxins and microbes.

Cardamom:

Cardamom helps improve the elimination of waste from the kidneys.
Cardamom also has diuretic properties. It helps clean out the urinary tract, bladder, and kidneys, removing waste, salt, excess water, toxins, and combating infections too.
Cardamom can be beneficial to combat nausea, acidity, bloating, gas, heartburn, loss of appetite, constipation, and other digestive issues.

Clove:

Clove also helps boost the function of the liver.

Clove contains antifungal, antiviral, and antibacterial properties.
Clove has one of the highest antioxidant levels among other spices. Antioxidants are substances that protect your cells against free radicals, which may play a role in heart disease, cancer and other diseases. Free radicals are molecules produced when your body breaks down food or when you’re exposed to environmental pollutants or other toxic substances.

Cinnamon:

Cinnamon has antimicrobial properties specifically to fight fungal, bacterial, and viral elements that are in food.
Cinnamon as antioxidant benefits and anti-inflammatory properties.

Turmeric:

Turmeric increases the production of vital enzymes that are responsible for detoxifying our blood.
The main chemical in turmeric, curcumin, has anti-inflammatory properties and is rich in antioxidants.
Turmeric aids the liver in it’s role of eliminating toxins from the body.
